This is makeup work to help my grade and is due 12 noon eastern Time Sunday 11/23/2014.
For this essay, please name and describe the positions of various leaders, thinkers, and activists in the post-Reconstruction regarding African-American upward mobility. Choose 4 key figures to discuss and analyze, and then argue which among them had the most sensible and applicable approach(es) given the circumstances African-American faced coming out of the Reconstruction Era.
Your papers need to be 3-5 pages, 12 point font, double-spaced, with a cover page, and citations. Be sure to include outside research (not just the textbook), per the grading rubric, in order to get full credit.
This short paper is at least three double-spaced pages of text (Times New Roman, font size 12) and you must consult a minimum of two academically credible sources. Bibliographies and citations will be in the Chicago Manual of Style format.
The short paper must include a cover page with your name, course number and course title, instructor’s name, and date. You must also include a bibliography at the end of your paper. While composing your paper, use proper English. Do not use abbreviations, contractions, passive voice, or first/ second person (I, you, we, our, etc). Before submitting your paper, check your grammar and use spell check. Remember, the way you talk is not the way you write a paper.
